Questioning me as an apostate
by God_Delusion ini am an active jw.
i was born in the "truth" (i really feel uncomfortable calling it that) and am now married to a witness.. for a year now, i have actually come to see that the gb are just business-psychologists.
anyone who views jehovah's witnesses as a religion and not a cult, really needs to evaluate their way of thinking and they also need to look up the definition of the word "cult".. anyway, my parents recently came over on holiday (they live in another country and are also residents of bethel).

Accepting the bible as inspired is a challenge to all Christians,........ but what acceptance is being intellectually honest and what acceptance is
being tritely dishonest, based off its evidential understanding of when and whom wrote the words in the bible ?
If you take the occurrence of the biblical flood for example and ask any studied animal biologist if this could actually possibly occur
and the answer would be confirmedly no, for so many reasons.
Most likely then this story was expressed to confirm how god loved and supported their particular tribe and how powerful their god was and
of course how evil and wicked people outside their tribe were and should justifiably be killed.
This suggestive amount of fear is still being utilized by religions to this day such as the JWS.
Are you an intellectually honest person Reniaa ?

Watchtower uses superior Brainwashing methods to "Demonize" blood Transfusions!
by Witness 007 inphase 1 - transfusions cause death, aids, hepatitis, infections, complications during surgery, blood rejection of the body etc etc etc....hundreds of negative articles convince you the blood is toxic poison!
although doctors tell you in an emergecy if you lose 4 litres you will die without one, and complications with blood are rare.. phase 2 - you can live forever in paradise if you don't have one and die.. phase 3 - many people have survived without one....it's over-rated.
many have made "miraculous" recoveries from near death after refusing blood.. phase 4 - non-blood substitutes are just as good as blood.

Yes they use loaded and bias propaganda, one thing they never have stated was the fact that since the use of blood transfusions
millions people lives were indeed saved, but that again would be telling " The Truth "

If the WTS. were to be really truthful they would state that the bible is mostly made up of stories of mythology involving
the ancient Israelites and their chosen God, but then again being that truthful wouldn't be profitable in selling literature in are time.

Being a born in myself it took me a few years to finally shrug off religion and conceptual need for spirituality.
Its funny how due to the programing by the JWS everything outside of them was deemed to be worldly and evil ,
even Satanic like in some sense.
But finally intellectual maturity sets in and the world doesn't seem so evil.
On a scale I'd say I'm way out of any given numerical scale.
In contrary now I find the JWS quite evil and worldly of an organization.

you seem to be fine with the fact that they are false prophets, that they have changed the bible and that they have entered into an agreement to "uphold the aims of the un".. what is the deal breaker for you?.
i suspect that there isn't one, and that is not a reasonable position.. please tell me there is something they could do that would make you question their legitamacy?.

Good information folks , as myself as well as many others have realized over time when your a Jehovah Witness your serving the Watchtower's will and purpose
and not necessarily god's, in the vein of true spirituality. Thats the reason many actually left including myself.
Since the WTS. was created off from a business inspiration , what other direction could it have actually gone and headed to.
Combining the preaching work and business was bound to create corruption and it did !
